The Texas Rangers will look to rebound from their loss at the hands of the Mariners in this matchup on Saturday. Nate Lowe has 44 hits and a .260 batting average with 5 doubles while Adolis Garcia has 8 home runs and a team-high 32 RBIs. Seattle is 11-23 in their last 34 games overall and 3-8 in their last 11 games against a team with a losing record while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 games as a road underdog. Texas is 4-1 in their last 5 division games and 6-13 in their last 19 games as a favorite while the under is 9-4-1 in their last 14 games overall.
I get the reasoning for backing either side in this game, but I’m looking the way of the under here. Glenn Otto and Marco Gonzales aren’t the first two pitchers that come to mind when it comes to backing a lower-scoring game, here, but the fact is that both have been pitching better in recent starts, a lot better, and I think this could be a duel. Give me the under here.
