The Colorado Avalanche and the Tampa Bay Lightning meet in game four of the Stanley Cup Finals in NHL action from Amalie Arena on Wednesday.

The Colorado Avalanche will look to rebound from just their third loss of the entire playoffs after a 6-2 drubbing at the hands of Tampa Bay last time out. Cale Makar leads the Avs in scoring with 26 points including a team-high 19 assists while Nathan MacKinnon has 20 points with a team-high 11 goals and 9 assists. Mikko Rantanen has 24 points with 19 assists of his own and Gabriel Landeskog’s got 21 points with 11 goals of his own and 10 apples.  Darcy Kuemper’s gone 8-3 in the net for Colorado this postseason with a 2.76 GAA and an .892 save percentage. Pavel Francouz has also gone 6-0 with a 2.81 GAA and a .906 save percentage this season.

The Tampa Bay Lightning will look to tie the series at two and make this a best-of-three series after getting on the board last time out. Nikita Kucherov leads the Bolts in scoring with 26 points including a team-high 19 assists while Ondrej Palat has 19 points with a team-high 10 goals and 9 apples. Steven Stamkos and Victor Hedman each have 17 points with Stamkos logging 10 goals while Hedman has 15 assists so far in the postseason. Andrei Vasilevskiy will make the start here and has gone 13-7 with a .920 save percentage and a 2.57 GAA this postseason.

Colorado is 7-1 in their last 8 road games and 58-20 in their last 78 games overall while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 games overall. Tampa Bay is 11-4 in their last 15 games overall and 41-15 in their last 56 home games while the under is 8-2 in their last 10 games following a win.

I could make a case for either side here, but I’m looking at the over. I’ve been on the under for a couple of these games in this series and have been dead wrong on them as this one has been all offense despite these being two solid defensive clubs. I think that while game four with so much at stake could lend itself to a tighter game, I see no reason to deviate from what’s cashed so far. Give me the over here.
