San Francisco Giants vs Arizona Diamondbacks 7/12/22 MLB Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Arizona Diamondbacks and San Francisco Giants meet Tuesday in MLB action at Oracle Park. The Arizona Diamondbacks look for a win after splitting their last 8 games. The San Francisco Giants need a win after losing 10 of their last 14 games.

The Arizona Diamondbacks have scored 15 runs in their last 3 games and 4 or more runs in 8 of their last 10 games. The Diamondbacks have won 7 of their last 11 games when scoring 4 or more runs. Ketel Marte leads the Diamondbacks with 73 hits and 27 RBI, while Daulton Varsho and Christian Walker have combined for 130 hits and 86 RBI. Dallas Keuchel gets the ball, and he is 2-6 with a 7.63 ERA and 34 strikeouts this season. Keuchel is 0-2 with a 3.71 ERA and 12 strikeouts in his career against the Giants.

The San Francisco Giants have scored 18 runs in their last 3 games and 3 or fewer runs in 6 of their last 8 games. The Giants have lost 13 of their last 14 games when scoring 3 or fewer runs. Wilmer Flores leads the Giants with 70 hits and 48 RBI, while Thario Estrada and Mike Yastrzemski have combined for 124 hits and 67 RBI. Logan Webb gets the ball, and he is 7-3 with a 2.98 ERA and 88 strikeouts this season. Webb is 2-0 with a 1.59 ERA and 21 strikeouts in his career against the Diamondbacks.

The Diamondbacks are 27-75 in their last 102 road games and 1-4 in their last 5 overall. The Giants are 7-2 in their last 9 Tuesday games and 3-8 in their last 11 overall. The over is 9-4-1 in Diamondbacks last 14 overall. The over is 11-4-2 in Giants last 17 Tuesday games. The Diamondbacks are 4-17 in the last 21 meetings in San Francisco and 19-43 in the last 62 meetings.

I’m not thrilled to get behind the San Francisco Giants in their current form, and I certainly don’t want to lay the RL to shave the price down. However, Dallas Keuchel is downright awful this season, with his 7.63 ERA and 1.94 WHIP. In 16.1 innings with the Diamondbacks, Keuchel has allowed 19 hits and 13 earned runs. Logan Webb is also superb at home, dating back to last season. This is a game where the Giants stop the bleeding. Give me the Giants and the RL for max betting value.
